WEEKLY FASTEST TYPIST WINNERS £50 BIG MATCH

There is no limit to the number of times you can make a BIG MATCH entry but everyone who registers has to make an entry within 72 hours of the start of the BIG MATCH. If they don’t then their place is forfeit and invitations will once again be sent to Qualified Competitors on a ‘first-come, first-served basis’

Rules 18 & 19: Forfeiture of places in the BIG MATCH typing competition

All Winners who are invited to take part should register as soon as possible but the deadline for registration is 24 hours before the start of the competition or their place in the Big Match will be forfeit. Where an invited Winner forfeits their place in the BIG MATCH then every Qualified Competitor who entered a previous Weekly £10 Prize Fastest Typist Competition will be given the opportunity of a WILDCARD place. These invitations are sent on the basis of ‘first-come, first served’.

In accordance with competition Rule 19, all persons registering for BIG MATCH typing competition place must make a competition entry within 72 hours of the start of the competition or their place will be forfeited.

Where this occurs, every Qualified Competitor who entered a previous Weekly £10 Prize Fastest Typist Competition will be given the opportunity of a WILDCARD place. These invitations are sent on the basis of ‘first-come, first served’. Once registered under this provision that competitor must make a competition entry within 24 hours or they will forfeit their place.

Organisers Statement on allowing Champions and Hall of Famers to take part in the Weekly Winners £50 BIG MATCH

It is obvious that it will take time to for players to move through the various levels of Winner, Champion and Hall of Famer and to get enough competitors at each level to enable competitions to take place. We need to give every Winner a chance to compete in a competition that they would be entitled to take part in had they not achieved promotion to the next level. In order to deal with this situation, those players who have achieved the level of Champion or Famers will be allowed to compete in the Winners Big Match competitions until there are sufficient (10) Champions to hold a Champions Big Match. Similarly, until there are sufficient (7) Hall of Famers to hold a Famers Big Match, Famers will be allowed to take part in a Champions Big Match.

There is a further proviso and that is in each case, a Champion or Famer will be allowed to take part in a lower level BIG MATCH competition until they have won a cash prize, either a first, second or third prize. At that point, they can no longer take part in a Weekly Winners BIG MATCH, for example, but they can obviously take part in the BIG MATCHES in their own Champion or Hall of Fame BIG MATCHES. Notwithstanding this, the organisers will be taking into account the numbers of Winners who actually register and take part and will review this proviso before each BIG MATCH.
