Please read this User Agreement carefully before you start to use the Site. We may at any time amend, delete or add to this agreement by giving notice of such change by posting a revised version of this Agreement on the Better Skills, Better Life Ltd website.  We will notify our current Registered Users and Subscribers by e-mail.  You will be deemed to have accepted the changes after you have received notice of it.  Unless a shorter period is required by the law or local regulations in the country or territory that affect our service or we add a new product, service or functionality which neither reduces your rights nor increases your responsibilities the changes will take affect 60 days after sending an e-mail to the e-mail address which you provided to us.  In such instances the changes will be made without prior notice to you and shall be effective immediately.

 

Our site is owned an operated by Better Skills, Better Life Limited.  We are a registered Limited Company in the United Kingdom and our registered office is Kemp House, 160, City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

 

This Agreement is a contract between you and BetterSkills BetterLife Ltd and applies to your use of this website and the online products whether you use them without payment or for a paid subscription.

 

Access to our site is not a right and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services that we provide on our Site without notice. We will take reasonable steps to provide a continuous service but there will be times when we will need to carry out maintenance, planned or otherwise.  We will not be liable if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period and we reserve the right to restrict access to some parts of our Site, or our entire Site at any time. 

We provide links to other sites within our web pages and e-mails that we send to you as part of our service process.  If you access any links in this web site to web sites not maintained by Better Skills, Better Life Ltd., you will Better Skills, Better Life Ltd.'s web site. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.  You may not use our Site:

  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.

We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will fully co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them.
  • To invade our systems so as transmit, or procure the sending of spam or any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation..
  • To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any copyright material which forms part of our website or our processes.

Reasonable Use

 

  • You are responsible for making your own arrangements necessary for you to have access to our Site.

  • You do not have to provide a username or e-mail address to visit the website or to use the Trial Versions of the products or the Typing Testers.
  • If you choose to use or receive additional services you must Register in order to do so. Registration involves you providing a valid e-mail address and password.
  • It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your account and your password.  Better Skills, Better Life Ltd. will not be liable for any loss or damage if you fail to comply to keep your account and password secure.
  • Your login is personal to you – it is not permitted to share your login with other people
  • You must be a person – you cannot introduce a bot to create or use your account
  • You are not permitted to have more than one free account
  • You are responsible for the security of your password and we will not be liable for any loss or damage for your failure to do so

 

Minors:  We believe that teaching good keyboard and language skills to children is an excellent thing to do. We suggest that parents or other responsible person make a point of ensuring that their child is using our products in accordance with our guidance, including maintaining a good seating posture and a control of their work area when typing.
